Getting on the Web

Well, here is my first post to my Musical Projects weblog. I have recorded and produced two recordings. The first, "God So Loved the World" was released in January. It was recorded on a three-manual Austin pipe organ at the First Presbyterian Church in Winchester, VA.

More information about this project can be seen at http://www.cdbaby.com/. The liner notes are included at the cdbaby recording site.

The secord recording is in the post-production phase with only a few edits on the liner notes to complete the project. This recording entitled, At the Name of Jesus, will also be available on cdbaby.com. The liner notes are extensive on this recording--16 pages!
It has been a difficult, but fulfilling project that was recorded on a four-manual Wurlitzer theatre organ located in Great Falls, VA at the home of Mildred and Jack Hardman.

These two recordings and their releases has brought me to a place of understanding that I need a webpage for information on my musical projects. I met Friday with someone who will be designing this new webpage. I have spent the weekend pondering all the possibilities and have decided on several items of interest that will definitely be included on my webpage. They are recordings, song information for the songs I have recorded, concert and performance information, and photos and recordings of noteworthy organs. I hope, in time, that this site will be a fun and informative place for organists and organ enthusiasts to visit.
I'll be posting from time to time to provide information on some of the exciting things I'm doing. Stay tuned for some Christmas projects that are in the works.
